Confirmation is the affirmation of baptism. Baptism provides entry into the worldwide community of the Christian church. Confirmation is the renewal of the baptismal covenant, and reaffirmation of the parent’s commitment made for the child at infant baptism. Its purpose is to strengthen faith and to initiate a life-long process of learning and faith growth.
Anyone between the ages of 12 and 14 interested in attending classes should contact the church office. If the need is present, arrangements can be made for a new class this Fall!
Adults who wish to join EUCC and who have not been baptized and confirmed by another Christian congregation are encouraged to complete a faith formation study. This study is tailored to each individual’s needs. Please contact Pastor Dan Johnson to discuss developing your individual study plan.
